these are a few of my favorite things: christmas, candid photos, ordering breakfast at diners at 1am, being barefoot, musicals, sunshine, love stories, hockey, life's simple pleasures, my blackberry, traveling through europe, crime drama tv shows, fits of laughter, ice cream on a hot summer day, and everything in my itunes library.

October has been so nuts. I officially started my aggressive job search on October 1st, and have sent at least 20 applications/resumes out. Seems like kind of a low number, but the first week was so stressful that I had to take a break from applying. Weak? Maybe. But I was having kind of a crisis, being a college grad with a BA and inexperienced. Aaaand my grand total of interviews: 1
Looking for jobs is such a catch 22. Companies want people with experience. How are people supposed to get experience if no one will hire them…? Needless to say, I’ve been pretty bummed lately because I’m not a mid- to senior-level executive with 7-12 years of experience. I’m 22. I just got out of school. I’ve resorted to sending my resume to firms who don’t even have job listings out… that’s right. Begging.
But with the downs come some ups. Booked my vacation for April! Counting down the days!
Plus, I still have my part time job that’s pretty steady. Payday on Friday!
Also, starting to do my Christmas shopping! And before Halloween, no less. Getting into the season of giving a little early this year :)
Hope that next time I get around to actually posting something original on here, there’ll be some progress!
